Tours begins at the visitor center at 2:00pm.

Speaker, Dan Hinkley "Exceptional Underused Plants for the Pacific Northwest—Exciting Plants Debut at the Bellevue Botanical Garden"
Dan Hinkley, is a horticultural consultant to the BBG and other gardens around the world. He will fascinate us with exciting and often humorous descriptions of rare and unusual plants that perform well in our region.

There simply are not enough superlatives to describe Dan Hinkley. In addition to being a world renowned plant explorer, writer, and engaging and witty speaker, he has introduced countless plants into cultivation that will thrive in temperate climates and are selected to satisfy the needs of keen gardeners. His passion and dedication has resulted in numerous awards and citations from the world's leading horticultural institutions.
