Digital Membership Cards: A Greener, More Convenient Way to Support the Bellevue Botanical Garden Society!

At the Bellevue Botanical Garden Society, we’re committed to embracing innovation while staying true to our vision of preserving natural beauty and our local ecology. In support of this, we now offer digital member cards! Your membership directly supports the ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and educational programs at the Bellevue Botanical Garden.

Why Go Digital?
  1. Environmental Responsibility: By transitioning from traditional paper cards to digital ones, we’re reducing our environmental footprint. No more unnecessary waste means we’re taking a step forward in our commitment to sustainability.
  2. Convenience: Your membership card is now right at your fingertips! Access your digital card anytime, anywhere, from your smartphone or other electronic devices. Say goodbye to misplaced cards and hello to easy access.
  3. Instant Updates: With digital cards, we can instantly update your membership status, ensuring seamless access to member benefits without any delays.
How It Works:
  1. Easy Access: Upon joining or renewing your membership, you’ll receive an email with your digital membership card attached. This email will come from membership@cuseum.com. IMPORTANT: Make sure you open this email on the same device you will use to store your digital card. In most cases, this will be a mobile phone. The card can be downloaded to iOS and Android phones. Then simply save the card to your phone’s wallet app for quick access.
  2. Show and Save: Present your digital card at The Trillium Store, at partner nurseries, and at reciprocal gardens just like you would with a physical card.
We know this is a new way for you to access your member card and you might have questions. See below for frequently asked questions to help you navigate this change. If your question is not answered here, please email us, or call 425-452-6919.

MY CARD HAS INCORRECT INFORMATION. HOW DO I FIX IT?

Digital cards are intended to receive updates dynamically. In the rare case you notice any inconsistencies (e.g. incorrect expiration date, name(s), membership level, etc.), you now have the ability to regenerate your digital card and install the newly produced version.

If you recently renewed or upgraded your membership and you’re not seeing these changes reflected within 24 hours, you can regenerate your digital card yourself and install a new version of your digital card with all updates in place.

To regenerate your digital card, follow these steps:

  1. Open the original email you received to initially install your digital card. The email may contain the words “Membership Card” in the subject and a bold “Download Membership Card” button.
  2. Click the “Download Membership Card” button to open your card’s download page in your web browser.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the download page and tap the button that says “Tap here to regenerate your card.”
  4. The following message will appear in your browser: “You have requested to regenerate your digital membership card. Please confirm the request by clicking the link that was sent to your email address on file.”
  5. Go back to your inbox and open the “Action Required” email.
  6. Click on the hyperlinked “Confirm request to regenerate digital membership card” text to confirm your request. It may take up to 15 minutes to regenerate your digital card. You can close the tab after clicking on it.
  7. Go back to your inbox and open the new email containing the link to your newly regenerated digital card.
  8. Install the newly regenerated digital card to your phone from the email you just received (make sure you open the email from your phone).
  9. Delete the outdated digital card from your phone.

iPhone users:

  • Open your membership card in Apple Wallet.
  • Tap the icon that looks like an up arrow over a square at the top of your screen.
• You will see sharing options like Airdrop, Messages, Mail, etc… Use one of those options to share your card (we recommend using the Mail option).

Android users:

  • Google Wallet: Simply forward the email you received and ask them to click on “Download Membership Card > Add to Google Wallet” the same way you did (Google does not have a sharing option).
