Community Art Event: Bees & Butterflies in Bloom

Join artist Rohini Mathur for a fun, colorful, and free community art event! Help create a vibrant temporary public art pollinator installation—“Pollinator Hubs: Butterflies & Bees in Bloom,” for the garden. Add your touch by painting colorful blooms and pollinators.
Adults and teens aged 15 and older are invited to drop in and participate in a collaborative painting project. Drop in anytime between 10:30am and 1:30pm. Registration not required.
Children ages 6-14 must register in advance and be accompanied by an adult. We ask that there is one adult for every two children. Registered children should arrive by 10:45am to keep their spot.
Children will decorate their own pollinator-themed wooden slices to take home and will also create mini field cards, tiny zines, and bookmarks for the educational art hub libraries that will be installed in the Garden.
Sorry, all children’s spots have been taken. Email us to join the waitlist.
This event is free for everyone. Funded by the City of Bellevue Arts Commission and in collaboration with Bellevue Botanical Garden and local artist, Rohini Mathur, a Bellevue Arts Grant award recipient.
