Heronswood and the Bellevue Botanical Garden Society are pleased to present our first joint symposium, Conversations with Eden. This event is a fundraiser for the two organizations.

This two-day “Cocktails and Coffee” webinar will take place on Saturday afternoon, September 19 (cocktails) and Sunday morning, September 20 (coffee). You can watch this event from the comfort of your favorite easy chair! There will be a question and answer session after each lecture.

Our powerhouse speakers include Jamaica Kincaid, author and Harvard University professor; Kathryn Aalto, garden designer and author of Writing Wild: Women Poets, Ramblers, and Mavericks Who Shape How We See the Natural World; Peggy Cornett, Curator of Plants at Monticello; and Victoria Johnson, author of American Eden: David Hosack, Botany, and Medicine in the Garden of the Early Republic. This is a 2-Day event: Saturday, Sept 19, 3:00 – 6:00 pm & Sunday, Sept 20, 9am-12pm. BBGS & Heronswood Members: $60; Non-members: $75. Cost covers both days.

Registration closes at 1:30pm on Saturday, Sept 19 so register by that time.
