Lauren Danner will tell the fascinating story of how strong advocacy by the modern environmental and wilderness movement was instrumental in the formation of the North Cascades National Park.  She will highlight lessons we can learn from the fight and negotiations to create this park to help us in this day when our public lands are threatened.
