Curator Walk: Bark Lark
Nov 17 at 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
$10.50 – $15
Join Alex Wright, the Bellevue Botanical Garden Curator, for a closer look at the overlooked. The season of flowers may be over, but there’s a secondary growth in the bark of trees and shrubs. We’ll explore everything from the smooth skin of a snakebark maple to the fine points of a dogwood’s lenticels. Please get any “ruff bark” puns out of your system before arriving. This program is outdoors, please dress for the weather. $10.50 BBGS Member/$15 Non-Member.
