DIY Wire Cloches
February 5, 2022 at 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
CLASS FULL
IN PERSON INSIDE
Taught by Alison Johnson. In this in-person, hands-on workshop you will learn how to make the wire cloches NPA uses in the Perennial Border at Bellevue Botanical Garden to keep rabbits from eating the plants. They make great plant supports too! Once you learn the wiring skills, you can make them any size that suits you. Keep them simple, or twist, bend, and curl to create something worthy of a place in your garden. We will supply everything you need to make 2 medium-sized cloches, and you will receive a materials list with information on suppliers and tools. You can bring your own tools or share the instructor’s tools. A tool list will be provided via email when you register. Please bring gardening gloves. $31.50/$45.
