Taught by Dorota Haber-Lehigh. Celebrate the ephemeral beauty of spring by creating a drawing of a flower, flower petals, or a flowering branch. Using a variety of colored pencil techniques, you will draw and sketch from observation. The workshop will include a presentation of Dorota’s botanical drawings of various flowers and flowering branches. There will be a demonstration of how to approach drawing from observation with various techniques and then a time to draw together. Participants are encouraged to work in their preferred style, either in your sketchbook or recommended surfaces. Individual styles will be encouraged and celebrated. This will be hands on workshop and appropriate for all ability levels. $35 BBGS Member/$50 Non-Member.
