July 24 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pmEVENT FULL
The Bellevue Botanical Garden Society and Heronswood Garden present an evening lecture with horticultural maestro and magician, Fergus Garrett! This lecture will take place at the Bellevue Botanical Garden.
For those who have never visited Great Dixter in SE England or had the pleasure of listening to Mr. Garrett speak, this event is, in a word, required. For his legions of admirers and those who have experienced the magic of Dixter, this is an opportunity to reload the enthusiasm and energy he brings to both gardens and gardeners.
Much more than masterful plantings amidst centuries-old topiary and 15th century architecture, brought to the fore by the late Christopher Lloyd, Great Dixter under the tutelage of Fergus Garrett has become a laboratory and classroom, discovering, encouraging and preserving the at-risk biodiversity endemic to the British Isles. Whether a horticulturist, entomologist or environmentalist, this lecture will illuminate, educate and excite the senses! $15 BBGS & Heronswood Garden members/$25 non-members.
Come early! Dan Hinkley will be selling Windcliff plants before the lecture!
SORRY, THIS EVENT IS FULL. TO BE PLACED ON THE WAITLIST, EMAIL US AND INCLUDE YOUR NAME, CELL PHONE NUMBER, AND EMAIL ADDRESS.
