Intro to a summer garden pollinator: the Leafcutter Bee

Jun 23 at 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

$10.50 – $15

Come join in on a discussion with Dave Hunter, Owner & Founder of Crown Bees, about a gentle summer pollinator, the Leafcutter Bee. Similar to mason bees, the summer leafcutter bees are hole-nesting, gentle pollinators that use tiny snips of leaves rather than mud in their nest building. In this conversational approach to learning, you’ll walk away with fresh understanding of why the bees show up in the summer, how to care for them, and precisely what to do for best success. $10.50 BBGS member/$15 nonmember.
