Kids in the Garden – Spring 2019, Session #2
May 14 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Is your 3-5 year-old child interested in things that grow, fly or crawl? Designed especially for preschoolers, our 4-week program will teach kids about the many parts of a garden, from birds to bugs and lots in between. Classes are taught by an experienced preschool science teacher. The curriculum is based on “Growing Wild” and is part of “Project Learning Tree,” a nationally recognized science program. Each week covers a different topic. At each class we will read a story, do an art project, sing a song, eat a snack and get out into the garden!
Session Two: Begins May 14 and concludes on June 4.
Topics for Session Two:
•5/14 – Super Soils
•5/21 – Surprising Seeds
•5/28 – Beneficial Bees
•6/4 – Beautiful Birds
