Paper Mycena Mushrooms

Feb 19 at 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

CLASS FULL
IN-PERSON INSIDE

Taught by Kate Alarcon. Come make these quirky little fungi in paper! Pink Mycena mushrooms grow in clusters on decaying logs, helping with the important work of breaking down and recycling forest matter. As you make your own tiny mushroom colony, you’ll learn how to sculpt and color crepe paper, how to work with floral stem wire, and how to create naturalistic groupings of mushrooms. You’ll make a cluster of mushrooms and plant them in a small ceramic planter, along with moss and rocks. $55 BBGS Member/$65 Non-Member.
