Scout Day at the Garden for Younger Scouts
Apr 19 at 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm
EVENT FULL
Come and work on scout badges and achievement requirements at the Botanical Garden! Designed for K-3rd grade Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts, Scouts will visit stations in the Education Center and go on a nature walk. Some of the topics include: composting with worms, insects, Leave No Trace, planting seeds, and pollination. Scouts will receive a garden fun patch and a list of completed activities towards their badges or achievements.
To make the check-in process smoother, we are asking 2nd and 3rd graders to come at 12:20 pm at the earliest, and K-1st graders to come at 12:45 pm. If you have a mix of ages, anytime between 12:30 and 12:45 is fine. You can leave when you are done. Adult chaperones are free. Email Us with any questions or to register a group. $12 per scout.
