Victorian Garden Mews: Sustainable Sites

Feb 9 at 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

$10.50 – $15
WEBINAR

Presented by Margie Grace of Grace Design and Associates. Victorian Garden Mews (a part of which is pictured at right), located in the historic El Pueblo Viejo Design District in downtown Santa Barbara, California, is an infill project that brings together a dense, sustainable, urban lifestyle without sacrificing luxury, comfort or a connection to the environment. A team of passionate green building professionals designed four units that share a habitat-friendly open space which provides storm water retention, food production, beauty, and a place to gather as friends. Margie Grace was commissioned to design the landscapes surrounding the four homes. She will describe this successful endeavor accompanied by beautiful photos. $10.50 BBGS members/$15 nonmembers.

NOTE: The New Well-Designed Mixed Garden lecture previously scheduled on this date has been canceled.
