Willow Bark Bracelet

Taught by Erin Cox. When you wear your willow bark bracelet, it will remind you that you can be like the willow: flexible, grounded, resilient, and full of vigor, and you can withstand the storm, or flood and bounce back! Willow is an incredible plant that offers medicine in its bark (used by humans for more than 3500 years!), habitat for birds in its swaying branches, stability for river and stream banks with its dense roots, and so much more.
Willow bark can only be harvested for a few months in the spring and early summer, but if dried and stored properly it can last for years. For weaving, willow bark is used to make baskets, hats, jewelry, art, and more. $35 BBGS Member/$50 Non-Member
