Children’s Workshop: Birds and their Flower Friends

Sunday, June 12, 2022 1 – 3pm In-person This workshop will focus on a couple of the common birds that we find at the botanical garden and the jobs they do related to plants.  We will have activities, a craft project and a tour of the garden. Recommended age: 3-7 years old. BBGS Members: $17.50. Each additional child is $10. Non-Members: $25. Each additional child is $10.

Landscape Architecture 

In-person We will tour part of the botanical garden, do some plant identification, make a scale drawing, and design a landscape for a local building. We will also talk about careers in the field and meet with a landscape professional. Garden patch included. Recommended age: middle/high school. This workshop fulfills requirements for the BSA Landscape Architecture badge, but you don’t need to be a scout to participate. Scouts may need to put in some additional time. $24.50 BBGS member or...
