Lost Meadow

Stroll a 1/3-mile loop trail through ten acres of woodlands, meadows, and wetlands that are being restored and enhanced to create native plant communities. See how active forest management can create a refuge for people, plants, and wildlife.

The meadow provides habitat for wildlife such as deer, raccoons, squirrels, birds, rodents, rabbits and more. Be sure to stop and see Night Blooming, a sculpture on the Lost Meadow Trail that is built from wood salvaged from grain elevators in the Palouse. Night Blooming is the work of Taiji Miyasaka and David Drake. Friendship Circle can also be found here, a sculpture by Roger Hopkins. Both are pictured here.
