Request a Youth Tour

Youth Tour Request

Private youth tours are available by prior arrangement from April through October. Tour requests are accepted starting in February for the current year. We provide youth tours for the following age groups: Preschool (3-6 year olds); Elementary School (6-10 year olds); Middle School (10-13 year olds). Youth 14 and over should request an adult tour. All tours must be scheduled at least two weeks prior to the desired date. Youth tours are limited. We will review your request and accommodate your group if possible. We will do our best to accommodate your first choice of date and time, but please be aware that this is not always possible. You may request a second date option to ensure the highest likelihood of your tour date being available, but this is not required. Although there is no charge for a private youth tour, we encourage donations. The suggested donation is $5 per person. You may bring your donation with you on the day of your tour, or make an online donation at bellevuebotanical.org/donate. Please note that picnic facilities at the Garden are extremely limited. We recommend going to Wilburton Hill Park if you wish to picnic before or after your tour. Items marked with (*) are required. If you prefer to make your request by phone, please contact us at (425) 452-2750.
  • Please refer to age group maximums above.
  • Please refer to required adult to child ratios when answering this question.
  • Preschool and Elementary School tour maximum is 60 minutes. Middle school tour maximum is 90 minutes.
  • We require a minimum of two weeks' notice. Tours are available April-October only.

We acknowledge that the land on which the Bellevue Botanical Garden is located is the ancestral homelands of the Coast Salish people, the traditional home of all tribes and bands within the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Indian Tribe. We take this opportunity to honor and express our deepest respect to the original caretakers of this land – a people that are still here, continuing to honor their heritage.
