Build Your Own Wreath

Two classes: One from 9:30-11:30am, and another from 12:30-2:30pm. Taught by the BBGS Education Committee. Children’s Craft Workshop: Winter Stars

Aaron Education Center at the Bellevue Botanical Garden 12001 Main St, Bellevue, WA

In this workshop, participants will create stars out of natural materials that often are emphasized in the winter months. From berries to vines, you will be creating several different kinds of stars to create a garland or to hang as an ornament on their own! All materials will be provided to complete this craft. This is not a drop-off event. Registration is by individual child. Adults attend for free with their children. $17.50 BBGS member/$25 non-member.

Floral Still Life: Beginning Acrylic Painting

Taught by Terry MacDonald. In this class you will receive an overview of acrylic painting from materials to techniques. As you learn about brushes, surfaces, and paints, you will explore the principles of value, shape, color, and shadows with a simple pear painting. Next you will incorporate these lessons into a floral still life as you learn about composition and color theory.
